Dru Blair airbrush workshop - South Carolina, USA August 2009

I attended an airbrush workshop in America - South Carolina, by the photorealist artist Dru Blair.

The workshop was state-of-the-art level, a dream studio room. The purple fish picture is my first attempt at airbrushing, and the below portrait exercise shows what I had learnt in my four days there.

This four day workshop was incredibly inspiring to me, and will have an enormous impact on my future works.

Dru Blair also requested the use of my image with the fish and portrait study on his own website as an example of how far a beginner can progress! How awesome!
